Every year, Trees Atlanta and its Atlanta Arbor Day Partners seek out the largest tree of each species inside I-285. The Atlanta Champion Tree Search recognizes winning trees (and their nominators/owners) on this page in time for National Arbor Day, April 27, 2012. All nominations will be reviewed by the Atlanta Arbor Day team, and finalists will be measured by a certified arborist.
