The Trees Atlanta Artist Workshop Series is designed to be a fun, creative approach to tree identification. There are six workshops that will focus on six different art techniques and oak species as a way to look with intention and learn about the trees in our local ecosystem.

The oak is the U.S. national tree, and the live oak is Georgia’s state tree. The importance and beauty of this genus (Quercus) is reflected in the honor we give it. Let’s get creative with #33oaks!

ANYONE can participate in these workshops! No special skills, experience, or artistic abilities required. All materials provided. Beginners are encouraged. All learners are welcome.

Each 2-hour workshop includes:
– Guest artist leading a 90-minute hands-on art workshop
– All art materials needed for the workshop
– Botanical overview and tree identification tips
– BYOB – feel free to bring a beverage and relax!

This event is brought to you with our coordinating partner Between the Evergreens. Thank you to Lime Scooters and each of our guest artists. Please view the registration page for additional details and restrictions for certain perk(s). If you have any questions or issues registering, contact treehouse@treesatlanta.org.
