Cascade Springs Tree Walk led by Kathryn Kolb
Join fine art nature photographer Kathryn Kolb and Walk About Down Yonder for an art-oriented naturalist walk in a truly beautiful season in the Cascade Springs Nature Preserve, one of the largest remnants of native forest left in the Atlanta metro-area.
In addition to highlighting native wildflowers and other flora, Kathryn will share interesting perspectives on the art and geometry found in the designs of plants and trees, and how art can be used as a tool to understand healthy ecosystems.
This is one of three Fine Art of Nature Walks in conjunction with Kathryn Kolb’s Dynamic Symmetry photography exhibit at the Trees Atlanta Kendada Center, which opened on April 17. For more information on the photography exhibit, click here.
On each walk, Kathryn and Jessica will focus on the artistic forms and geometry found in the designs of plants and trees, and how art can be used as a tool to understand healthy ecosystems.
Walk is free, to RSVP click here and, don’t forget to bring your camera!RSVP Now
