Improving Atlanta’s Canopy & Tree Protection Ordinance: Community Call to Action
- Community Event
Atlanta is known as the “City in the Forest.” Our trees are more than icons, they are fundamental to our city’s well-being and long-term sustainability. How can we better protect our valuable tree canopy as Atlanta’s pace of development accelerates? The City of Atlanta’s Tree Protection Ordinance is scheduled for a review and update this year.
Please join us Tuesday, April 30 at the Atlanta International School for a presentation from city residents and organizational representatives. Our goal is to increase public awareness of the issues, share ideas, and organize a call to action for better tree protection.
