Lunch & Learn: How to Propagate Your Favorite Shrubs and Trees with Grafting
This event has passed.
We host a very casual monthly brown bag lunch at the TreeHouse. Each month, we invite a Trees Atlanta staff or crew member, volunteer, or friend to present an interesting environmental topic for discussion. Brown Bag Lunch & Learns are typically on the second Thursday of each month. Lunch starts and end promptly at noon to 1 pm.
Looking for a low-cost way to plant new trees and shrubs in your urban garden? While it’s practically free, propagating woody shrubs and trees by seed or rooted cuttings can take a lot of time. Thankfully, grafting can speed up the process dramatically and you can enjoy mature plants in your urban garden sooner! Learn the basic techniques of grafting your favorite shrubs and trees during this hands-on workshop with Jim Pruckler, Vice President of the North GA Camellia Society.
