Join fine art nature photographer Kathryn Kolb and EcoAddendum for an art-oriented naturalist walk in the Morningside Nature Preserve near Atlanta’s Virginia Highlands neighborhood.

This greenspace features a maturing forest of diverse hardwood trees and access to the South Fork of Peachtree Creek, just before it joins the North Fork to become Peachtree Creek, which goes on to join the Chattahoochee.

There is a great diversity of trees on this site, and we’ll focus on their distinct forms and share interesting perspectives on how art can be used as a tool to understand healthy ecosystems.

This is one of three Fine Art of Nature Walks in conjunction with Kathryn Kolb’s Dynamic Symmetry photography exhibit at the Trees Atlanta Kendada Center, which opened on April 17. For more information on the photography exhibit, click here.

The nature walk is free, click here to RSVP, and don’t forget to bring your camera!
