Get the Scoop on what is available at the 4th Annual Native Wildflower and Vine Sale!
Come to Trees Atlanta’s Kendeda Center on Thursday, March 31, to strategize your shopping efforts in advance of the Saturday sale. You’ll be among the first to hear what special “spotlight” plants will be offered.
Learn what to plant in your yard, what works for shade, and what works for sun. Whether you are a novice or tree expert, you’ll enjoy and learn more about the wonderful selection of native plants available at the plant sale. The complete list of plants to be sold will be posted online.
Lead by Eric Kimbrel, Director of Horticulture for the Southern Highlands Reserve, a native plant arboretum and research center in the mountains of Western North Carolina. A native of the southern Appalachians, Eric received a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture and Design from the University of Tennessee and later served as a gardener of the Atlanta Botanical Garden, as well as with private clients throughout the southeast.
Plants will be discussed but not actually available to view or for sale. The 4th Annual Native Wildflower and Vine Sale will be the following Saturday, April 2, at the Freedom Farmer’s Market at the Carter Center starting at 8:00 a.m.
