Learn, explore, and play at Trees Atlanta’s Junior TreeKeeper Summer Camp! As a budding environmental steward, your stewardship and wonder for nature ensures a thriving urban forest for all generations. Junior TreeKeepers explore the outdoors with hands-on activities in environmental science, biking the Atlanta BeltLine, field trips to local attractions and more fun! Join us for a week of fun learning experiences in our City in the Forest where campers connect to nature and new friends.


June 5-9, 2017 – A

Week A: Campers will explore the urban forest by exploring soil, birding along the Atlanta BeltLine Arboretum and other locations, tree identification, invasive species removal projects, and a bike trip to Atlanta Botanical Garden (age group dependent).

Week B: Campers will explore the urban forest by identifying common trees, compass orienteering, a trip to Fernbank Forest for a hike, participating in a scavenger hunt, and helping remove invasive species.

Rising 1st – 3rd grade students (current K-2nd graders)
Rising 4th – 6th grade students (current 3rd-5th graders)

1 Session – $295
– Bike rentals are $35 per week
– All campers get a Junior TreeKeeper hat
– A limited number of need-based scholarships are available for each session.
– Campers bring brown bag lunch and a reusable water bottle

Registrations are limited to only one of the following discount codes:
– Acorn Club: At the beginning of registration select the Acorn Club price option
– Multiple Camper Code: MC2017 ($30 off each registration)
– Multiple Session Code: JTKS2017 ($30 off each session)

Early Drop Off: 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM (additional fees apply)
Regular Drop Off: 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM
Program: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Regular Pick Up: 3:00 PM – 3:15 PM
Late Pick Up: 3:15 PM – 5:15 PM (additional fees apply)
