Tour de Trees: Inman Park Neighborhood Arboretum Bicycle Tour
Just in time to celebrate the Tour de France, join Trees Atlanta and Eli Dickerson, Fernbank ecologist and volunteer manager of Trees Atlanta’s Champion Tree Program, for a leisurely bicycle tour of the Inman Park Neighborhood Arboretum. The Inman Park Neighborhood tree canopy includes some of the most diverse ornamental and flowering trees as well as many one of a kind specimens, including: redwoods, osage orange, weeping katsura, and Sinojackia.
This morning tour is perfect for anyone comfortable on a bike (no need to be a super athlete). Helmets are required. The medium to easy ride will consist of many stops to talk about cool trees.
– Meet at the corner of Elizabeth Street and Lake Avenue
– Tour will depart by 9am and end just in time to eat at one of your favorite brunch spots!
Special thanks to the City of Atlanta for help supporting the Trees Atlanta tree tours!
