Chastain Park

Plans are underway for a Members’ Woodland to be part of the new playground and path projects in Chastain Park. The grove of up to 200 native specimen trees- including oaks, elms and dogwoods- will honor all those generous and forward-thinking people who have contributed to Trees Atlanta’s efforts to preserve and expand Atlanta’s tree canopy.

In addition to honoring Trees Atlanta’s contributors, the Chastain Park Woodland will offer opportunities for Atlanta’s children—of this and future generations—to learn about native trees and to imagine what Atlanta’s natural habitat looked like long before our city grew and prospered.

During this special campaign Trees Atlanta is inviting you to give specifically to our Chastain Park Woodland project.  Our goal is to plant 200 trees for 200 gifts.

We hope you will join us in this special legacy project. We are excited to be a part of Chastain Park’s future and invite you to be as well. With the help of our donors, members and volunteers, Trees Atlanta has planted 100,000 trees since 1985; help us get started on the next 100,000 trees bygiving today!
