  • Atlanta Canopy Alliance Pledge

    Atlanta Canopy Alliance Pledge

As recently as 2008, nearly 48% of the City of Atlanta was covered by urban tree canopy. But now, our urban forest is being threatened: two of the top 3 counties experiencing the most annual deforestation in the southern United States are in the Atlanta metro region. Keeping Atlanta known as “the city in the forest” requires your support and action. Sign the pledge to show Atlanta’s policy makers and influencers your support for protecting our urban canopy!

The many different programs offer opportunities for everyone to become involved in some manner. Learn more.

We accomplish this by introducing environmental programs to our youth so that they may adopt an early appreciation for their natural surroundings. Trees Atlanta offers several programs tailored to various age groups, and all designed to foster a better understanding of, and respect for, our urban forest. Learn more.
