Holiday Tree Greetings

Trees Atlanta Offers An Alternative to Wrapped Gifts This Holiday Season: A Unique Gift Idea that Lasts (Several) Lifetimes

Atlanta, Georgia, November 27, 2012 – Trees Atlanta is pleased to announce that, for the 19th year in a row, we are offering Holiday Tree Greetings. Holiday Tree Greetings are the perfect gift for each and every person on your holiday list.

For a minimum $25 contribution each, Trees Atlanta will mail an attractive, non-denominational Holiday Tree Greeting card to your friends, family, and business associates. The card announces that a one-year old shade tree will be planted in their honor, through our NeighborWoods program, thanks to your contribution to Trees Atlanta.

“Not only will this unique and meaningful gift help you breathe a little easier – literally – it’s easy, earth-friendly, and tax-deductible,” said Connie Veates, Chief Operating Officer of Trees Atlanta. “And the recipient will know who to thank, because your name will appear on the card.”

Your support of the Holiday Tree Greeting program supports Trees Atlanta’s NeighborWoods volunteer program, which has planted tens of thousands of trees across the city. NeighborWoods trees are planted at schools, parks, and neighborhoods throughout metro Atlanta. And trees can be planted wherever they are needed most because you purchased Holiday Tree Greeting cards in honor of your loved ones.

“This is a gift that gives and grows year-round,” said Greg Levine, Chief Program Officer. “Consider purchasing this green alternative to traditional wrapped gifts, since trees never go out of style.”

Cards will be available November 26 through January 15. Please note: Orders placed online after Wednesday, December 19th will be processed in the New Year.

Remember: The more Holiday Tree Greetings you order, the more shade and clean air you provide for Atlanta. Please view and order cards here.
